These Sasu Kauppi shorts represent an alternative to the status quo of industrially manufactured clothes. The garment and its print have been entirely handmade by the designer. The psychedelic spiral print has been made using bleach on the loopback side of black college, which creates a camouflage-like effect on the uneven surface of the material. The shorts consist of two pieces that have been seamed together on the center front and center back seams. The seams have been made using Kauppi’s signature stitch, which looks like a hand-sewn stitch. The waistline of the shorts has a 5 cm wide rubber elastic, which gathers the baggy shape of the garment nicely when worn. Trouser legs that cover the knee have been finished with the same white stitching.
Material 100% cotton. Color black and copper orange. Designer Sasu Kauppi has made the product by hand in Finland. Waistline of the product has been measured without stretching the elastic. Two unisexsizes s = s / m, l = l / xl. More care and wash instructions, contact Acolyth fashion e-store.
